This design is for a wedding celebration for 100 guests for the wedding breakfast and an extra 100 for evening entertainments.
The client opted to have a main marquee to hold everything, with a couple of pagoda porches under the entrance as a foyer for the drinks reception. The marquee dimensions are as follows:
·12m wide x 21m Frame Marquee with an extra 12m x 4.5 curve-end add on.
·2 x 6m x 6m Pagoda Porches – open sided with hard deking flooring to gather under for drinks reception.
·6m x 6m Catering area with connecting blind for staff access.
The marque plan includes panoramic windows spanning 2 sides to allow natural light and for scenic views. The 12m x 4.5 curved end had a standard white PVC roof with ivory pleated internal linings under which the top table was placed.
A dividing curtain was installed to hide the dance floor area which was dressed in black starlight linings. Modern evening furniture comprising of bar stools and cocktail table were dotted around the dance floor area.
A second door was installed at the rear of the marquee for discreet access to the toilet facilities. A marquee was considered to house these facilities, but the weather on the week of the wedding was very pleasant and the covering wasn’t required.
