Wedding Celebration in Keele, Staffordshire for 120 guests
The above design is a common shape for the traditional pole marquee.
- With the dance floor at one end underneath starlight linings and the bar at the other, it allows some guests to chat and mingle with each other in the bar area whilst others can dance the night away.
- With a separate kitchen tent on one side of the marquee for easy access for the caterers, a clever screen is created to hide the entrance from on looking guests.
- At the other end of the marquee a 6m x 6m wall-less pagoda is used as a entrance tent to welcome the guests upon reception and a refuge from the rain for the smokers.
- Leading out from the reception tent is a carpeted pathway lit up by halogen lights that lead on to the car-park and portable luxury toilets
- A long top table is used as a big focal point inside the marquee, this could the again be used for a buffet table for any extra evening guests.
- Though not shown on the design, trellising is used to separate the bar/reception area from the dining tables, and then again in between the dining tables and the dance floor. This keeps the guests together and maintains the party atmosphere rather than some guests wandering off.
