Wedding Celebration in Prescott, Cheshire for 80 guests

The marquee design shown above is a combination of several different size marquees used to good effort to produce the best possible layout on the ground provided.

  • The entrance of the marquee is within a 6m x 6m pagoda with a pointy / spiral top, this makes a perfect entrance to wow the guests. Within this entrance, sofas and soft furnishings are placed as a escape from the noise of the dance floor later on in the evening.
  • A 6m wide open side of the pagoda leads into the main 9m x 24m marquee, this marquee houses the bar, dining tables and dance floor. This marquee is a generous size for only 80 guests for wedding breakfast in the day time. This is because an extra 70 guests are attending in the evening. To accommodate these extra guests but still keep a suitable size marquee for the day time, a dividing curtain is installed between the dining tables and dance floor. This is controlled by a series of pulleys to one side and remains in place for the meal and then lifted to reveal the dance floor in the evening. Not only does this provide the extra space for the extra guests but it creates an unexpected surprise for the guests and informs them that the dancing is about to start.
  • Finally a standard bare 6m x 9m service marquee is erected to provide a kitchen area for the caterers. This has access to the main tent through a partition in the linings that is hidden from the guests by a blind.
